RYA Training

Our open day will be held on Sunday April 6th. 11am onwards. All are welcome to come and have a trial sail. The following two Sundays will then be used for the RYA level one course, "Start Sailing". To enrol for the course you must be a member of Denholme Sailing Club and the cost of tuition is £20 for adults and £10 for children ( under 16 ).

Denholme Sailing Club is an RYA training centre.  We have an open day each year which is usually followed by an RYA level 1 (Start Sailing) course.   In September of each year we usually run an RYA level 2 course and, if there are enough participants, a Level 1 course.  We also run an RYA Seamanship course if there is a demand for it. 

We organise occasional additional training for members; recently we have organised an RYA VHF/DSC radio course and a first aid course.  The charges for these courses vary as they are run by instructors from outside the club.
